He watches her through his phone screen, talking to himself like a madman.

"You're not crazy, my little one… but I'm the weak one. I can't even call you."

She pleads with her phone, hoping he can hear her.

MY IDOL IS MY HACKER~

New story incoming!

The old one isn’t finished yet, and it didn’t get much support, but I thought I’d post the intro anyway! If it gets support, I’ll continue this along with The Magical Necklace.

I hope you like the idea and the intro!

I wanted to make it different from my previous ones.

I should be lazy since the last story barely got any support, but I thought, "Why not drop the intro?" If people like it, I’ll continue. If not, I won’t even finish the first one and will just post this instead.

For anyone who still wants to read the first one, it’s still available. 😂😂😂

What do you think of the intro?

What are your predictions for the story?

I really hope you like it!

Chapter One
"My Obsession"

After finishing their work, the group and their friends left the entertainment company after recording their new song.

"Ahhh, we’re finally done recording," Hoseok sighed with a hint of sadness. They would all be enlisting in the military soon, one after the other.

"Yeah, I can’t wait to see how the fans react to it," Jimin added, his tone a mix of excitement and sorrow. Jin, however, spoke casually and warmly, hiding the sadness inside him.

"Me too! But… I won’t be able to see their reactions. You all know that I’ll already be enlisted by then," he said.

The members hummed in sadness, nodding in agreement.

"What about you, Jungkook? You’ll be opening the World Cup next month, my friend," Namjoon said to Jungkook, who seemed lost in thought. He simply nodded with a faint smile.

Taehyung playfully wrapped his arm around Jungkook’s neck, noticing his somber mood.

"Yah, Jungkookie! I know you’re close to them, but don’t be too sad, big guy!"

Jungkook looked at him calmly and waved his hand dismissively.

"No, no, I’m not sad."

Yoongi stepped closer, flashing his signature gummy smile.

"Yah, don’t lie to us, you big oaf!"

Jungkook sighed in defeat.

"I’m not just sad that we won’t be seeing them soon… I’m also sad about our own separation. We’re a family, and you all know how lonely I get without you."

Or maybe… for another reason that no one knew about.

Namjoon let out a soft sigh and smiled at him.

"Don’t worry, Jungkook. We won’t be apart forever—we’ll be together again."

Jungkook nodded with a smile.

After saying their goodbyes, each of them headed home.

Somewhere else…

Our heroine woke up, getting ready for school.

"Lavender, hurry up, sweetheart, or you’ll be late!"

That was her older sister, Mary. Lavender got out of bed and headed to her bathroom, not bothering to open the curtains since Mary had already done it.

After showering, she wrapped a towel around her slender figure and walked to her closet. She picked out a short white skirt and an oversized, long-sleeved cotton shirt in the same color. Letting her long, chestnut-colored hair fall over her shoulders, she grabbed her bag and went downstairs.

Mary was setting the plates on the dining table.

"Come on, sweetheart, eat your breakfast so you won’t be late."

Lavender nodded quietly and started eating. Finishing quickly, she grabbed her things and headed to school.

Upon arriving, the first person she saw was her best friend, Martha, who waved at her excitedly. Lavender walked toward her slowly, feeling a bit down.

"What’s wrong, my little one?"

Martha had immediately noticed Lavender’s unusual silence.

"Nothing, I just feel uneasy… I didn’t sleep well last night," Lavender replied, furrowing her brows.

"Why didn’t you sleep well? Is something wrong?" Martha asked with concern.

Lavender sighed, feeling frustrated.

"No, I just have trouble sleeping these days."

Martha pulled her into a warm hug, trying to comfort her.

"If you ever feel down or can’t sleep, even if it’s the middle of the night, call me. Even if I’m sleeping, I’ll wake up for you, my friend."

Lavender smiled brightly at her best friend’s kindness. Martha didn’t just treat her as a friend—she was like a sister and even a mother to her. Although Martha was only a few months older, she cared for Lavender like she was her own child.

They walked to their classroom and took their seats, with Martha sitting beside Lavender.

"Oh, did you hear? Jeon Jungkook is the one opening the World Cup this year!"

Lavender’s face lit up with a wide smile as she nodded.

"Yes, I know! You know how much I love him. He’s so close to his fans, and I admire that so much!"

Martha chuckled, watching her friend’s excitement.

"Yeah, and he’s ridiculously handsome!"

Lavender frowned, furrowing her brows in irritation. She hated it when others gushed over him, even though she knew he would never be hers. But still… she couldn’t help but feel jealous.

"You know, Lavender, I feel like just hearing his name makes you so happy! I don’t know why!"

Lavender smiled sincerely, her eyes sparkling for a reason she couldn’t quite understand.

"Yeah, he’s really close to his fans, so I feel like he was there for me. When he released my favorite song, Still With You, my parents had just passed away. And also, when he used to go live a lot, sharing what he was doing with us, I felt grateful to him even though I’ve never seen him in real life!"

Martha nodded with a warm smile.

"You’re right. He and his band are so close to their fans, they love us so much that it feels like we’re a family."

Lavender nodded back, and they walked to their seats just as the math teacher entered the classroom.

At that same moment, someone was watching her through his phone screen, smiling widely, his heart racing. He held his glass of wine, his eyes glued to her—obsessed.

He knew she was only fourteen, while he was twenty-five. He knew she was way too young to be with a man eleven years older than her.

But he wanted her. Desperately. Even though he knew there would be so many consequences. And he knew that if he called her and told her everything, she would agree without hesitation.

But in his twisted mind, he thought she only saw him as a famous singer.

So he just loved her from a distance. She was his other half. He was trying to change for her, but he kept falling into the same abyss. He loved her, but there was nothing he could do about it…

He got up after finishing his drink and walked to the bathroom. He stared at himself in the mirror, at the tattoo on his arm—her initial next to his. A smile formed on his lips as he imagined her name beside his, her body beside his.

To make her his. Officially. Legally. Completely.

After his shower, he picked up his phone and checked the time. It was 4:30 PM in South Korea.

He quickly calculated—what time would it be in France, where his beloved was? 8:30 AM.

That meant she wouldn’t be going out anytime soon, so he decided to head to the studio to record his World Cup opening song.

He wanted to give it his absolute best. He wanted to make her proud. To make her happy.

But deep down, he was terrified he might fail.

Hacking her phone gave him a sense of security. It made him feel at ease. Since he couldn’t see her in person, he had to see her this way. He had to know she was okay.

…

She and Martha had finished most of their classes, and when break time came, they went out to the schoolyard. That’s when they saw a fan page posting a new picture of Jungkook, with a caption saying he’d be going live after work.

She stared at the post, confused. She didn’t even know what app he used for his livestreams. Neither did Martha.

And to be honest, he didn’t want them to know.

Because if she ever left a comment during his livestream, he would weaken. And with her sharp mind, she might just figure him out.

He loved her. And she was only fourteen.

Yes, she was wise beyond her years. And her body…

Her body was dangerously tempting.

Her figure, her curves—they pulled him in even more. He burned with jealousy, knowing other people saw her in the streets while he couldn’t even touch her, couldn’t even see her from afar.

But that body, that mind—was he really underestimating her? Would she not be able to figure him out?

He went live. Meanwhile, she walked home, sat in her room, and cried for no reason.

Her sister was at work. She spent most of her time alone.

She thought about him but denied loving him.

How could she? She didn’t even believe in feelings like that. She was a person who only trusted logic and reason.

Can you imagine what she’d go through if she found out what he was doing?

He wasn’t sure if what he was doing was right either. But he kept doing it.

He spoke to his fans, but his mind was on her.

She fell asleep early. She was tired, she hadn’t slept well the night before, and she wanted to wake up when her sister came home for dinner.

Meanwhile, he kept practicing his dancing and singing—just to see that proud look in her eyes one day.

He did everything for her. He only wanted her. He didn’t even know how he had fallen for her before even meeting her.

Later that night, after confirming that she had eaten and fallen asleep safely, he lay down in his bed, holding his phone.

He stared at her picture, holding her phone under her chin, and whispered like a madman,

"I love you like crazy, Lavender. I adore you. My obsession. Goodnight, my queen."

Pffft…

That was the first chapter of my novel. I hope you guys liked it!

It’s not super intense yet because, well, nothing major has happened. The first chapter is always kind of like an introduction.

Tell me what you think in the comments!

And also, what are your predictions?

How did Jungkook hack her phone?

How did he fall for her? How did he even find her?

Will she accept him if she finds out?

Does she even truly like him? Or is it just admiration for a famous singer?

Let me know your thoughts—I’d love to hear them!
